WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT THE FEST? Other than take in a few of the 30 workshops you can get tickets for? Grab a refreshing drink and settle in to scroll waaaaay down and take in all the offerings.
In addition to a stacked day of a’ la carte learning opportunities (seriously – check out the line-up and schedule at homesteaderfest.ca/workshops), your general entry ticket gets you access to:
- Demo workshops & community experiences (see below for listing, 20-30 min each)
- Market vendors (think weavings, wool, yarn, natural beauty products, hand-forged knives, honey, sourdough, soap and more!)
- Live music
- TWIN, Kaiti Rieder + Jayson Krahn, April & Friends
- Food
- Kids tent – kids get free access to activities and workshops in the kids tent with a ticket-holding parent or guardian
- A paid option of a Foresthood session with Momenta
- A day or weekend on the farm

💜 Indigo Dye Vat with Pembina Fibreshed ($2 to dip & dye a small piece of fabric or cloth napkin you bring along)
🌅 Natural Pigment Paint Night with Aurora Farm ($49)
🌲 Guided tour of the Brokenhead Wetlands Interprative Trail with members of Native Orchid Conservation Inc and Brokenhead Ojibway Nation. $10 donation to the trail/person.
